“Research Innovation” 8th International Conference was held on May, 13-14, 2021.
During the pandemic, the conference was held online and attended by more than 90 experts and students from foreign and local universities across the world, including Japan, China, Austria, Russia, Korea, Indonesia, Australia, America, and Mongolia.
The opening ceremony was started at Academician. Tserendulam Luvsandorj, President of Mongolian University of Pharmaceutical Sciences by her warm congratulations on the holding of the forum and expressed her sincere welcome and gratitude to all partner universities and students on the first day of the conference. She pointed out that the Mongolian University of Pharmaceutical Sciences has always been committed to cultivating medical students and the ability to serve human health. She believes that the forum provides good opportunities for all international pharmacists, experts, researchers, as well as students to showcase scientific research results and explore scientific frontiers, actively promote exchanges and cooperation, and build a platform for the exchange of pharmaceutical research results.
After that, the guest speaker presentations were delivered by Academician Khurelbaatar Luvsan, Academician Tserendulam Luvsandorj, Academician Bold Sharav, Prof. Radnaeva. L.D, Prof. Chen Xijing, Assoc. Prof. Murata Toshihiro, Assoc. Prof. Olga.V.Z, Assoc. Prof. Fu Minghai, Assoc. Prof.Deiske. A.S, Dr. Enkhbileg Gantumur, and Dr. Peter Koppensteiner from Mongolian University of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Baikal Institute of Nature Management SB RAS, China Pharmaceutical University, Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Privolzhsky Research Medical University, Inner Mongolian University for Nationalities, Sam Ratulangi University, Medical University of Vienna, and the group of Ryuichi Shigemoto, Institute of Science and Technology of Austria.
All guest speakers introduced their fruitful study results relating to a broad range of pharmaceutical, pharmacy, as well as Mongolian traditional medicine.
The main session of the forum included an academic presentation and poster exchange. After the review by experts, a total of 18 international researchers and students from 9 universities were selected for academic presentations and 17 international researchers and students for academic posters from local and foreign universities, hospitals, and research institutes. Through online introduction and discussion, the students shared their innovative ideas in pharmaceutical or Traditional Mongolian Medicine scientific research and discussed the latest research trends. The forum set up the best two prizes for each academic report and posters.
After fierce competition, Buyankhishig Buyanmandakh, a participant from Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University, and Gegentana a participant from Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities were awarded as the best two academic reports.
Hyo Jung Kim from Woosuk University and Sugarmaa.B from the Drug research institute of the “Monos” group was awarded as the best two posters. Finally, the judges conferred honorary certificates to the awardees, and the forum came to a successful conclusion.
This forum has been successfully held for two consecutive days. More than 90 international researchers and students all over the world participated in the forum, sharing their academic achievements and learning experience. The successful holding of this forum will further create a good academic atmosphere for researchers, and students from various universities to display scientific research results, discuss and explore the latest scientific progress, exchange and inspire new ideas, and improve the scientific research level and quality of education.
